Cairo cannot be explored in a single day. This vast, vibrant metropolis is an incredible blend of ancient wonders, fascinating religious culture, and modern luxury. On this 3-day, fully customized private tour, you can explore Egypt’s capital at your own pace, without the lines or the rush!
1. Day: In the footsteps of the pharaohs and the luxury of modern Cairo
Departure: the transfer, an 8-seater minibus, arrives at the accommodation at 01:00 AM
Arrival at the Giza Pyramids View Inn guesthouse, where you will have time to freshen up and have breakfast.
The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx: We start the day with the most famous ancient wonders of the world. There is the opportunity to take a camel ride or a horse-drawn carriage ride through the dunes for the perfect photos.
The Egyptian Museum: Visit the GEM, the Grand Egyptian Museum, currently one of the world’s most significant cultural investments, or the iconic museum in Tahrir Square, where you can admire the treasures of the pharaohs and the legendary golden mask of Tutankhamun up close. You are free to choose which one to visit.
Cairo Tower: We go up to the tower on Gezira Island, from where you can see the city and the Nile swimming in the setting sun in a 360-degree panorama from a height of 187 meters.
Evening Shopping and Dinner: Relaxing in one of Cairo’s most modern and luxurious shopping malls (e.g. Mall of Arabia or Citystars Mall). Shopping, world brands and a cozy dinner.
2. Day: Time Travel – Mosques, the Hanging Church and the Mysterious East
Morning
The Coptic Quarter and the Hanging Church: We start the day in Cairo’s oldest, Christian quarter. We visit the famous Hanging Church, built on the gatehouses of an ancient Roman fortress and featuring amazing wooden interior architecture.
The Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque: We continue our journey to the monumental citadel of Sultan Saladin, where we enter the breathtaking Alabaster Mosque. From here, above the city of a thousand minarets, on a clear day, the whole of Cairo can be seen.
Lunch: Traditional Egyptian lunch (such as barbecue dishes or local specialties) on the edge of Al-Azhar Park.
Khan el-Khalili Bazaar: Get lost in the largest and oldest bazaar in the East! Spices, jewelry, lanterns and a real bargaining atmosphere await you. A mint tea in the famous, patinated El Fishawy cafe is not to be missed.
Nile Cruise with Dinner and Music Show: After dark, we board an elegant riverboat. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner and a view of illuminated Cairo, accompanied by a ham
3. Day: Uninhibited relaxation and modern Egypt
Free time: This morning is completely tailored to your needs.
Lunch: Light, modern fusion lunch
New Cairo and Cairo Festival City: We visit Cairo’s newest, ultra-decorative and clean part of town. Stroll along the palm-lined promenades, buy last-minute gifts in the open plaza.
Departure back to Hurghada
What does the basic package include?
